UPCOMING EVENTS

Cat & Kitten Adoption
We have cats and kittens at Petsmart everyday.  Sometimes on weekends, we will take some puppies and dogs to Petsmart to get adopted.
Reba
Reba was found living on the side of the road. She was very starved and neglected. There was nothing in site for miles and she appeared to have been nested down there for awhile. A kind pet Angel rescued her but could not keep her. She had hundreds of ticks all over her body also had fleas. After a good flea and tick bath, her pet angels brought her to HELP FOR HOMELESS PETS to find a new loving home. Despite what she has been through she is the most gentle loving dog you could find. She is great with other dogs and cats too loves kids.  She loves to eat and especially likes any kind of treats you give her. She is so gentle also when she takes her treats. She does not bark much, just a very well mannered dog.

She looks to possibly have some Brittany spaniel in her. She would be an excellent companion or family pet. We do prefer she has a fenced yard. We will update pictures as she gains weight as we realize right now she does not look her best. We believe she will be a loyal, beautiful dog when she overcomes all her misfortune. Adopt fee.

Video of Henry and Orson
Henry
June 2008

Hi there.

It’s Suzie in Seattle. We adopted a white kitten you called “Tom” last October. We brought him home and named him Henry.  He is such a love.

Henry made fast friends with our yellow lab Orson. You’ll see pix of them sleeping together on the couch. There is even a picture of Henry on Orson’s back – the day we brought him home.

Our yellow lab Orson is a sweet, kind soul. So Henry actually bosses him around. : )  They play chase around the house.

Henry loves to watch TV. He paws at the screen all the time. It’s really cute.

He loves to go outside on our 2nd story deck. He is an “inside only” kitty. But he can be outside on the deck without getting truly “outside.” He loves to chase bugs and watch the birds.

He also likes to “tunnel” under the comforter on our bed. He looks like a simple crease in the blankets. So we learned early on that you have to pat the bed before you sit on hit to tie your shoes – or you just might sit on Henry!

Henry was a big snuggler when we first brought him home. But now that he is older and more independent, he would rather be rambunctious than sit still on our laps. But that changes at night. He simply insists on laying across my neck or right on my head! I don’t mind because I love the smell of his fur.

At least once a day he walks up to our dog Orson and licks, and licks, and licks Orson’s head. It is the cutest thing. Orson sometimes gives Henry a kiss too. But it’s more often that we see Henry licking Orson on the head.

We couldn’t be happier with our little family.

Thanks for your work and all you do to help deserving pets find good homes.

Suzie (and John)
